this is a keeper league. im not sure how you can be so quick to determine one side is winning so much vs the other side.

i have seen more lopsided trades occur for sure in this league. if there is something fishy going on we would stop it and there would be repercussions.

if you think Scott over paid (judging by tangers resposne), ehlers is a top 10 pick who put up 38pts in 72 games as a rookie. guy could be a stud in no time.

also whos knows what those picks turn out to be. if scott finshes high then they wont be anything to special.

anyways i could break the trade down more but no reason why. these guys know what they are doing! I have been with them in another league for like 8 years, they know how to trade, and they know the value of draft picks, which may take a little while for others to figure out.

This is a great keeper league trade. Considering the first and third round picks are essentially 16th and 18th round after keepers. Plus like Lawrence said, where Scott finishes can greatly alter the value of that 1st rounder as Sanders is less likely to pick up a prime prospect.

I don't think he overpaid, and I didn't mean to ruffle any feathers. I understand the value of draft picks vs the value of already proven players, and I agree with the fact that the players received in this trade are worth a premium. Just making a joke that Scott really wanted those two players, because he paid top dollar for them.

My bad

yes Mikes response sparked my response. i don't mean to get protective or anything, or come across as upset, i am just trying to say that keeper league trades are really hard to determine who won. if it was some type of collusion we would be able to see (i.e. crosby for bozak type). im a little suprised that this is the trade that has brought forward some type of negative league response in terms of not thinking its even.

if someone says the trade seems off, that implies that they think something is going on, or one team is not try to do what is best for there team.

i just wanted to focus the point on that this is a keeper league, they both know what there doing, draft picks values can be misleading, and really the only time someone should bring up a trade being off publicly like that, is if its cheating or collusion.

Theres obviously nothing sneaky going on.
Scott really wanted Klingberg and i didnt really want to trade him.
So we compromised, bout it there.

His team will still be good and i'm just hoping to make playoffs for 1st time haha
